iShowSpeed Gets Billboards in China After Viral Trip

So, iShowSpeed got billboards in Changsha, China? Crazy. The internet personality whose streams are known for chaos apparently got the nod for “bringing the beauty of that country to the world”. Yeah, that, too, seems real.

In the tweet by FearBuck, Speed’s smiles on the billboards are unmounted in thanks to their accidental touring campaign? The dude was just running around in China, screaming around, eating bizarre food, and somehow became this unofficial ambassador style. Classic Speed.

Then, of course, things go downhill in the replies. Some are hyped, like @Soul_Of_Satoshi, that said, “Speed really got the Chinese bag, that’s crazy 🤯.” Others say that it was a full-on government scheme. @NodickDr2 (yes, that username) goes, “The propaganda is mostly true. There is a reason China was trying so hard with Speed and planned this trip ahead of his arrival.”

Others, like @TheMMAMuse17, come back strong: “Been watching Speed IRL since last year… there’s no assistance collaboration with CCP.” And like that, a simple billboard appreciation post turned into a geopolitical debate. Twitter for the win.

Some are just funny in the replies. @RealRenk said, “No bananas or fried chicken, great improvement 😅,” a reference to Speed’s classic rants about food. And @r7sary predicted, “They boutta have a statue of him in the next couple months watch.” I honestly wouldn’t even be surprised.

Speed is just crazy from screaming at games to billboards up in China. Best said by @averageclipper: “Crazy what he’s accomplished in a short span but very deserved.” PR move from China or just Speed being Speed? Either way, it’s clear that dude is living his best life.

Next question. A theme park dedicated to Speed? National holiday? They can do anything at this point.

So where was I? Oh yes. China loves Speed. Speed loves China. Twitter loves to debate it. Circle of life.
