Recently, Michelle Obama shared an Instagram post that really stirred the pot. “No is a complete sentence,” it read in the simplest, most direct way by the former First Lady, who used a pulloff promo for her podcast episode with Taraji P. Henson to insist on finding peace-through-creating boundaries. And let us just say… the whole Internet had THOUGHTS.

Michael Obama wins by simply not going to places she does not want to be. Honestly? That is the energy we should take into 2024. The cons, however, are slightly less pleasant: boundaries are simply less palatable for people. Sometimes, absence speaks volumes.
