Whitney Cummings Roasts Bill Belichick Over New Girlfriend Drama

Whitney Cummings, who’s currently the reigning queen of standup, has come up with a really cut-and-dry hot take for a brutal and hilarious one-liner regarding the Bill Belichick dating situation that seems quite plausible. Unless one was under a rock, every news item mentioned that sprightly 71-year-old NFL coaching legend Bill Belichick has struck up a romance with a young ex-cheerleader, and deservedly so, since Cummings plainly inquired if anyone, valued their opinions about it all, especially with this planet being due for another apocalypse and everything. Cummings tweeted, “Do we really care this much about Bill Belichick and his new girl I mean a meteor is coming.” Classic Whitney, cutting all the BS down to size.

So the replies? Chaos, support, and good old-fashioned hilarity served up in beautiful jumble. Defenders went on all-out defense for comedians; there was CodeKrakr who said, ‘He was 49 when she was born… that is absolutely disgusting 🤮’ for the age difference. Yikes, that math too! Be too logical took a different approach to the subject, saying, what’s the point if you can’t date a 25-year-old model after everything Belichick has done? Fair, but still…weird. Clearly, others like James were touching on how if a woman was found dating some much younger man decades later, she’d be practically toasted for that? Tony D’carlo decided to acknowledge Belichick: ‘Props to him for scoring his own touchdown 👏.’ Football pun or not, the situation is just kind of sketch.

Everyone obviously was not laughing. Werth went ahead and branded Belichick a ‘Predator’ while Enrico Butta Jr. added that it was just another round of ‘rich old dude with a young gold digger.’ Tough, but hey it’s the internet so it visits no holds barred. Then enter Joseph Sage who pretty much said, ‘Who cares? Trump is out here ruining the economy and my dog needs a bath.’ Priorities.

Cummings’ tweet seems to have also set off many random but hilarious side conversations with Jesse Ellerbee joking that he would be a ‘fun stepdad in twenty years with Bill’s money.’ Dad W/ High T declared simply, ‘This fucking rules.’ No further explanation needed.

But I bet Cummings wrote this in order to not so much point toward Belichick as at the obsession of society in general with celebrity relationships while ignoring real-world problems. Regardless of whether it’s seen as gross or just rich guy living his life, there are definitely people who have opinions. And, being quite honest? The meteor might just be the least of our worries.
