Miley Cyrus Performs New Song ‘More to Lose’: Watch

Musician posted a clip from her performance in New York on Saturday
Miley Cyrus is gearing up to release her concept album, Something Beautiful, on May 30, and she’s been teasing one of its singles, “More to Lose.” Last night, she debuted the song live during a performance in New York.
“I have a lot of people that I’ve known and loved for a very long time in this room,” she said, via fan footage filmed from the event. “Even a couple of exes.”
As she delivered the song, she cracked some jokes with narration about the track. “It’s like an instant classic,” she quipped during the opening verse.
Cyrus shared a clip of her Saturday performance on Instagram, along with a set of photos showing her looking stunning in Moncler. “Oh, I’ll stay when the ecstasy is far away/And I pray that it’s comin’ ’round again,” she sang on the piano ballad. “And you say it, ‘I wish it wasn’t true, oh’/ I knew someday, the one would have to choose/I thought we had more to lose.”
The singer previously teased the track in a video post she shared on social platform X earlier in the week. In the visual, she sings beside a piano in a studio. “Sharing this song from the same place it was created… at the piano,” she captioned the post.
Executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, Something Beautiful will be the musician’s ninth studio album and her first in two years, following 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation. She’s set to premiere the 13-track visual “pop opera” album during this year’s Tribeca Film Festival on June 6, which will be followed by a conversation with the artist herself.
