Pedro Pascal Teases New Film Eddington With Explosive Poster

Pascal dropped the premier look of his film Eddington, and the film is already touted as a must-watch this summer. Geared under Ari Aster’s direction, the poster had to be set afire by the charismatic actor himself, and with July 18 being the official release date, reactions were turned upside down for good.

The poster contained drama: cowboy hats, shots fired, and Peter Pascal’s unmistakable stare. The collage-style effect creates a Wild West vibe, albeit with a contemporary spin, perhaps hinting to an equally gritty and surreal tale. And if there’s one thing about which people can agree… it’s Pedro Pascal wearing a cowboy hat.
Comments blew up faster than dynamite on screen in an old Western picture. One person could not resist and said, “Uff, what a great poster,” whereas another mockingly said, “It’s not Hot Girl Summer anymore… It’s Pedro Pascal Summer now.” Honestly? It deserves that one. It’s gotten hotter, haven’t we all been enjoying it?
Some believe this to be just Javier Peña (Pascal’s iconic Narcos character) laying low. “Sir, that is Javier Peña and I refuse to believe otherwise,” a commenter stated, igniting a brief debate in the replies. Another joined in with “Close enough, welcome back Javier Peña” — obviously, some roles cling on forever.
The biggest win, however: “I’ll watch it for the plot… the plot is Pedro Pascal btw.” Same, honestly. Who needs an actual synopsis when you have that face on screen?
There were those who were not convinced. One user stamped a sarcastic comment on it: “Easier to find movies you aren’t in bro,” hinting at Pascal’s non-stop work life. Split reactions followed, with some confused (“What?”) and others agreeing (“Him and Jack Quaid are just working 24/7 rn”). So, you cannot deny it; the man is booked and busy.
Even a brewery jumped in to spill the tea that the movie was shot outside their premises for months, adding, “I don’t think any of us are ready for this movie.” Considering Ari Aster’s track record, with ‘Hereditary’ and ‘Midsommar,’ they were right. Get ready.
Between the cowboy vibes, the mysterious poster, and Pedro Pascal growing big in pop culture, ‘Eddington’ is about to hit the Carlisle carriage this summer. Psy-thriller, neo-Western, two hours of badassery of Pascal, count me in!

If nothing else? At least proof we have that 2024 is officially Year of Pedro. Again.
