Ken Jeong himself goes on to reinforce that Leslie Chow is one of the highly etched comedic characters in history. On his Insta Stories, Ken Jeong dumped a short clip from The Hangover Part III with a single caption, “This week’s mood thanks to Ken Jeong.” They immediately got all of their fans into a frenzy as Jeong’s insane character went nutso one of his signature chaotic lines.

The clip shows the master of chaos, Leslie Chow, screaming, “I heard myself today to see if I still feel… I focus on the pain, the only thing that’s real. What have I become? What the f— am I watching?” Absurdity and hyper-energy: that was what earned Chow his cult following across the Hangover trilogy. Judging by some of the comments, the people definitely have not moved on yet.

Another begged again, “And The Hangover part 4, when??? Pleaseeeeee.” Another asked Ken Jeong to deliver, “Please hangover part 4 @kenjeong.” The demand for the continuation has survived all since the last installment.

However, some went further and called for an epic adventure for him. “Seriously, when do we get a Chow film?!? No wolf pack needed, just pure chaotic Chow adventures!!” Another was eager with, “A movie just on Chow’s life. Yes.” With the amount of love Jeong bestowed upon the character on screen, it would certainly not be difficult to conceive a spin-off, especially if it leans hard into the chaotic side of the character.

One or two just had to recall how Chow and Alan became friends. “Alan + Chow = greatest relationship of all time,” one fan said as another remembered a very funny moment in that clip when Alan deadpanned, “You having a bad day? Did you die???”

Of course, there was a whole international array of appreciation for Jeong’s act. “In Venezuela we love you,” said one, while the one from Argentina added, “I Love You Mrs. Leslie Chow.” Brazilians shared the love, too; “You are my favorite gangster in all of Hollywood movies.”

Jeong’s tribute acted as a nostalgic fuel for the whole Hangover franchise. One of the fans joked, “Reversal: let’s get 6 seasons of the Hangover,” as if it was some TV school. Another voice gave a shout-out to Bradley Cooper’s far too rarely recognized comedic chops, writing, “Bradley Cooper’s comedic timing is so underrated.”

While there is no green-light for Hangover 4, nor are there any beginnings for a Chow spin-off, one can only imagine how much Jeong’s post has worked to keep the character alive. All in all, basically on account of his wild one-liners, awkward affairs with the Wolf Pack, or being just downright unpredictable in the moment, Leslie Chow is a laughing legend. And judging from the plethora of comments, viewers honestly want to see him go from nuisance to savior, via chaos, for one final round.

This throwback will go down in history on Jeong’s post, on behalf of The Hangover. And who is to say that after all this uproar, if Warner Bros. hears out the people, and finally churns out the long-specked Part 4? Or better yet, The Leslie Chow Chronicles. The Internet has clearly placed its bets.
