Adam Devine Loses It Over Aaron Judge’s Home Run In Hilarious Video

Adam Devine just proved, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that baseball has the power to turn an otherwise calm star into a raving madman. The actress-turned-comedian posted a video capturing his wild antics as he watched Junior hit a homerun; understandably, the internet latched onto that.

Behind-the-scenes footage showed Devine out in the field overgasping, cries, or whatever else one would consider primal noises at the blast by Junior. It was a crazy, carnival-ride sports commentary gone mad: “Oh my god. Oh my god. Sorry. Oh. Whoo! No flies on. So fast, Bobby.” There was a wild ungated joy that few will ever truly share-joy guarded for little-league games and drunken uncles at family BBQs.

Devine went ahead and added, “Baseball is something else… and so are the noises I made watching Aaron Judge blast one into outer space!” And honestly? Same.

The comment section blew up with jokes almost solely about one subject: Where was the jumping? Known for flinging his whole body through madcap antics in shows like Workaholics and Pitch Perfect, Devine somehow managed to stay rooted to the ground during this particular outbreak. The fans started calling him out, “I was expecting 70% jumping Adam!”; another said, “Where is all the jumping I was promised?”

Until then, it’s just us on loop, re-watching that clip with a blatant, fake smile as if anybody’s ever exalted over anything like this in life. Judge’s homerun helped, but Devine’s commentary is a home run on its own.
