Priyanka Chopra Celebrates Heads Of State With Idris Elba And John Cena

Having clearly enjoyed herself, Chopra was giving the entire world no FOMO vibes while promoting Heads Of State. On social media, Chopra expressed excitement about the film along with co-actors Idris Elba and John Cena, giving viewers a peek into what she calls a “special relation” that the three of them share. The action-comedy, now streaming on Prime Video, is apparently loved by the audience, judging from all the comments being posted.

The clip is a fleeting, straightforward view of the effervescent camaraderie between the leads, with Chopra hyping the bond that exists between the characters played by Elba and Cena. Chopra had said of the characters, “Raise each other up, have each other’s back,” and put each other first. That chemistry does work, one fan exclaimed about the “AMAZING chemistry” between every actor. Another confirmed that the comedy was “awesome,” but a third called it “brilliantly action-packed.”

Not all agreed, however. A user mocked that Chopra, for all intents and purposes, practically had “barely any” involvement in the film, and this sparked resistance. The retort flattened the argument: “She’s in the majority of scenes, the movie literally starts and ends with her.” Oof. That’s one way to kill a critique.

Most comments were, however, overwhelmingly positive. Some of them admitted to watching it more than once, with one fan confessing to having seen it twice yet still laughing at the Elba-Cena dynamic. “I’m only watching for Priyanka,” declared one, and others promised that they would not disappoint.

Talk about the sequel was in the air, with one comment reading: “I hope we can see Head of State 2.” With all this gossip, what’s crazy about that? The official account of Prime Video India also joined the fun, commenting, “we love a little friendly mess,” for which another user quickly replied with “Oho.”

Chopra is hitting hard and this win with Heads Of State will surely be written into her resume. Action? Tick! Comedy? Check! Star power? You bet! Clearly, this trinity indicates something special to many viewers, but if anything, judging from the growth in comments, this must have only been the beginning.
