Alan Bersten Wants Taylor Swift To Make Him The Coolest Uncle Ever

More like the laughably ambitious request of the year by Alan Bersten, the “Dancing With The Stars” pro. He wished for Taylor Swift to help him be the coolest uncle on Earth. And, when you think about it, it does make a certain kind of logic.

In a video posted to Instagram, Bersten earnestly made his case with so much excitement, almost as if he were receiving a mirror ball trophy. He first passionately spoke about the warm relationship Kylie Kelce has with her husband, Jason Kelce. After that, he tries to connect the dots on how this somehow leads to Taylor Swift knowing him, with a triumphant smile, as if he had just cracked the Da Vinci Code: “Kylie knows me, which means Jason knows me, which means Travis Kelce knows me, which means Taylor knows me.”

The clip then cuts to Bersten talking directly to Swift: “Taylor, you have a chance to make me the coolest uncle ever.” The caption adds: “Idk how but we gotta get @taylorswift to see this and help me become the coolest uncle ever.”

The replies were mixed hype, skepticism, and pure chaos. One individual stated Bersten has been, yes, the cool uncle for a while because of his friendship with rugby star Ilona Maher. Another replied to the former with, “Ilona Maher is my Taylor Swift,” and that really hit the mood.

Various fans chimed in to remind Bersten that Swift has definitely seen him before, like when he choreographed that delicious Viennese Waltz to “Lover” on DWTS. “She reposted your dance with Hannah Brown!” one cried into the void.
