Alan Ritchson Teases High Octane Action And Cookies On Reacher Season 4 Set

Alan Ritchson gave fans a sneak peek behind Reacher season 4 and apparently, things are looking wild. To kick it off, the actor provided an exceptionally odd shot on the green room on-set and went on his own shout about how pumped he is for this new season; there’s no way he can contain his excitement even if he tried.

First up: the green room situation. A green room is that place where actors hang out between takes while cameras and lights are being moved around. Sometimes it’s a dump (literally), but this time, Ritchson sure did hit the jackpot by getting an artsy repurposed space with a few guitars tossed about and a piano warming itself up in the corner. He jokingly said he might become a musician second, actor first. Classic Alan.

The shots: Ritchson told us the new season is so intense there might be need to start measuring viewers’ heart rates before they watch. Such high octane! Everybody from the past seasons is back in it and just leveling everything up, he said, mentioning Christopher Marquette for stepping into some really challenging situations and crushing them; meanwhile, someone named Sydellio is out there bringing him some amazing cookies? Priorities.

Meanwhile, the fanbase found the situation in the comments utterly entertaining. One who had just read Gone Tomorrow (which may be the basis for this season?) said they “can not WAIT” for the episodes to air. Another said they weren’t such a big fan of the book but have faith that the show will make it work. This gave rise to international love through Spanish and Portuguese comments flowing in, including one that said “the best series in the world” with blessings from Colombia.

The real tea came from one inquisitive mind having asked what book this season is based on, seeing as every bookworm wants to reread it beforehand. Ritchson neither confirmed nor denied it, but seeing how Gone Tomorrow kept being mentioned, that might well be our answer. Oh, and somebody just dropped a Batman reference in the comments like it ain’t no thang. Just saying.

What remains well and truly agreed on is that Ritchson and his team are cooking up something very special. He’s guaranteed all Reacher staples – peril, mystery, action, and dry wit we cherish – while still managing to keep each season fresh. The guy clearly loves his job, his team, and those mystery cookies.

Judging from this behind-the-scenes sneak peek and all these alpha comments, it is clear that the Reacher hype train has left the station. No release date is set yet, but with filming going on and Ritchson all stalker excited, it’s gonna be worth the wait. Now if only we can get our hands on those Sydellio cookies.
