Colton Underwood Introduces Cast Of New Hulu Show ‘Are You My First’

Colton Underwood treated the cast of Hulu’s ‘Are You My First’ for an exclusive first look, and gosh, the internet’s exploding with reactions. Underwood had the contestant intro video uploaded-an intro of young virgins looking for love-with reactions pouring in from every corner of the world.

The show, premiering on August 18, has a colorful cast with various reasons for abstaining from sex. Lane is 24 and an Oklahoma commercial pilot who has never actually been in a serious relationship. Then there’s Farha, 25, from Miami, who proudly states she doesn’t “give away feet for free,” Godwin is 27 from New Jersey who enjoys the attention one gets by being a virgin, and then there’s Spicy Katya, a theater artist from New York who quickly distanced herself from the show’s description that she (does NOT) “idolize virgins.”

One single comment of Katya was enough to trigger a strong fan reaction in her support. Another user wrote, “LAYERSSSSS👏🏽,” and yet another expressed, “JUSTICE FOR KATYA.” Obviously, the layers to their reasoning for waiting has intrigued the viewers massively, who are keen to hear her full story when the show drops.

Among the crowd stands another interesting contestant, Mike, 34, from San Diego, but much like Underwood, the two shared so much in common there-being fellow former athletes and Christians. One fan said, “I really liked Mike and I hope he does well here,” while another admitted, “watching just because I get to see Mikey on my screen again.”

The cast also features 28-year-old Sarah with a secret to clutch, and 30-year-old Rachel, a cocktail waitress with some health-related problem heightening a barrier to physical intimacy. Then there is Andrew, 25, of Utah, searching for “the person he spends the rest of his life with,” versus Karissa, a 27-year-old photographer, in waiting.

Underwood’s news just birthed the utmost excitement, with fans calling it the ‘GOAT cast’ and saying they’re ‘rooting for them to find that special someone.’ But not every one of the reacting people is on the positive side of it. Another one jokingly went, “I would get stoned to death in Utah for my sex count,” while another one said, “But where is my girl Madi?”

However, the show is definitely coming up with high expectations, so performing in spite of mixed comments. “Oh we are soooo ready,” commented the show’s official account, and judging by the reactions, the excitement of audiences is sure to hit another high without a doubt.

Underwood, coming out about love and sexuality adventures back in 2021, has been pretty open about his journey. He turned the glare upon those going through similar waters-to a certain extent anyways-from another vantage point. Whether or not the show can lead to genuine connections is yet to be seen, but for sure, people will be tuned in.

With an intriguing lineup already brewing so much, it’s a safe bet that Are You My First could be the year’s most talked-about dating show. If comments can be taken as any form of measure, then the drama-and the love-have just begun!
