Craig Robinson Praises Bruce Springsteen As The Real Deal

Recently, Mr. Robinson went on to pay Bruce Springsteen a heartfelt tribute by calling the Boss “the real deal,” while he himself was feeling under the weather during their conversation. The actor and comedian shared a video clip wherein, besides hailing Springsteen as a legendary musical figure, he spoke of the man as being really good at heart. Robinson refers to him as a caring husband, father, and now grandfather. Robinson thanked Theraflu for getting him well enough to work on another project.

Reading from the transcript of the video, Robinson is envious of Springsteen’s character that the loyalty shown to Springsteen by fans and fellow band members is no magic. “I’ve seen you as a caring husband, as a loving father, and you just became a grandfather. The loyalty that your fans and your band members show you, that’s not magic, that’s work because that’s who you are.”
After these words, the comments started to flood in with users agreeing. One stated: “You couldn’t watch him and Clarence do ‘Rosalita’ together in 1984 and not know that he was solid. Whole damn E Street Band is solid.” Another user commented, “Could not get higher praise than THAT!” There was a fair amount of connection among users with the phrase, “That’s not magic, that’s work,” with many reiterating that phrase as their favorite.
Some of the comments turned more political, with one user shouting, “Michelle Obama for President!!!” Another tried to drag the chat into some unrelated geopolitical arena. But most preferred to stay on theme, celebrating the mutual respect shared between Robinson, Springsteen, and Michelle Obama, who also came up in the post.
Robinson’s post was more than just appreciation; it served as a subtle plug for an upcoming project. The post somewhat felt personal, as if catching up with an old friend who just happens to be famous, mixing genuine respect with comical thoughts on recovery.
With Bruce Springsteen now at 74 years, he has not only become a living legend in popular culture; he has remained a down-to-earth individual. Whether selling out shows or selling concerts filled with love for his own family, that validated “real deal” image is too much to dismiss. And if a guy like Craig Robinson backs it up, then honestly, about the debating…

The text most certainly reminds that it is the grounded, hardworking people who leave the biggest impact beyond the superficial glimmer of fame. And sometimes legends like Springsteen need a shot of Theraflu to keep moving-alike the rest of us.
