Kelly Clarkson Celebrates Birthday With Viral 43-Second Clip

Nothing less than a delightful gem of 43 seconds from Kelly Clarkson’s mouth will be on the Internet today. In the name of birthday wishes, the official account of The Kelly Clarkson Show featured a timely little nugget of hilarity that can be classified as peek Kelly energy, showing Clarkson demonstrating the kind of unfiltered hilarity for which she’s known and which had commenters descending into sheer madness with affection.

The tweet read quite simply: “Happy Birthday!! Best 43 seconds of your day,” but the replies were delicious chaos. Some offered pure love-more happy birthday messages, but there came some who couldn’t restrain themselves from showering the singer-turned-talk-show-queen with adoration and appreciation.
“Please can I just have @kellyclarkson be my friend!!! I mean I’m so fun and goofy and don’t care just like her!! Can we just hang out?!?,” @RamTennisGirl almost begged for Clarkson’s friendship. Oh, she was punctuated by enough emojis to make anyone feel like they’re the main character. Honestly? Mood.
Then, @kevindua gave us the math: “America’s idol to American idol= @kellyclarkson.” Short. Accurate. No notes. Meanwhile, @808nobody had dreams of Kelly-Jennifer Hudson singing, very specifically like Whitney&Mariah circa “When You Believe.” Now, someone make that happen.
Obviously, there were some who weren’t even making sense anymore. Like, “ber ber ber!” was how @k_e_v_i_n_0 chose to say happy birthday, which…sure, why not. Then @nass_casey was on for a “magical Kelly wink,” that reference seems to be one only the most hardcore stans of Clarkson would understand.
But, arguably, the biggest winner has to be @xvnightshade, who proclaims the Kelly the “Queen of music and daytime tv.” Every line is pure truth.
Sweet, chaotic, and just shy of deranged-really seems fitting as a tribute to Kelly Clarkson herself. She’s one of those celebrities who do indeed revel in raw emotion-both in spitting those power ballads and making jokes at her own expense on daytime television.
And, honestly now, the fact that her birthday post screams “not polished,” and “no corporate touch whatsoever” really just seals the deal on why everyone loves her. It was short, silly, and felt like something she might just post. No fake vibes whatsoever-just Kelly being Kelly.

So happy birthday to the woman who gave us “Since U Been Gone,” a kick-ass talk show, and now… whatever that 43-second piece of art is. The internet loves you.
