Khloé Kardashian Drops Khloud Protein Popcorn And Twitter Has Thoughts

Khloé Kardashian has made known her new business venture, which, this time around, is not an extension of her reality series or a cosmetics line. This time, it’s Khloud Protein Popcorn, set to launch on April 29 from her personal website and Target. Her tweet exposing the secret sent the Internet into a stir, reactions flying from hype to outright confusion.

So what’s new about this popcorn? Exactly-P-rotein popcorn. Very much in alignment with Khloé’s fitness-forward ethos. But really, this is the not-the-other-snack they were talking about. The sub replied were a whole mood themselves. Some were alwers up, like Cynthia Dávila Sacasas, who cheered, “Let’s 🍿 to the cloud and get loud! Congrats Kokopop.” Others not so much one. One was calling herself ‘the Opinionated Croissant,’ simply stated: ‘Nobody asked for this.’ Ouch.
And then there were those who were just never going to believe it. Kris, on the Twitter account with the most conversational fire when it comes to economics, threw a little shade: ‘Hey middle class American, you really should have nothing to worry about with your 401 just losing money… you can afford to spend what little money you have on yet another product from a rich person.’ Harsh? Maybe. But hard to argue with, given the climate.
There were, however, a few fans happy to jump on the popcorn bandwagon. Some of them were just bending on giddy. Julia was one very excited one: “I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you.” Another user, Valentina Royal, interjected, “Who needs diamonds when you have Khloé popcorn?” Priorities, right?
But the best drama was reserved for all those who have vowed to boycott Target. Jeyda 👸🏽INTP 🧐 wrote, “We are going to boycott Target! Keep this in some other store,” while M.Ladd had a slightly different request: “Get this in Walmart.” Accessibility struggle is real, people.
And let us not forget the international fans. One user from Brazil, uma tal de ana flávia, demanded, “We need this in Brazil.” Another user reached out from Africa inquiring if the product would make its way there eventually. It looks like Khloé’s snack empire is going global.
Every product drop, of course, has its haters, yeah? Mei Wensing couldn’t hold back her bile, saying Khloé was ‘gross and disgusting.’ The other, displaying simply ‘???,’ opted instead for, ‘Stop making shit!’ Very subtle, huh?

Love it or hate it, it’s happening. Will it be a smash hit or just another celebrity cash cow? Only time will tell. The assured thing is that Twitter had a field day with it. And if you ask me, that’s exactly how it was meant to be.
