Larenz Tate just posted the video that is an ultimate manifestation of unapologetic Black joy the entire internet tries to strive for. The actor shared a clip of the group vibing to an unheard beat and the reactions really show how much people want to get in on this groove.

The video featured some fine gentlemen taking a completely unrecognizable sound to an extensive dance with ease. Tate kept it captioned simply: ‘It’s lit tho,’ with fire and dance emojis. It really needed no context because the energy from the clip speaks for itself.

Impatiently so, an early fighter likened the whole scenario to TV ratings, joking that ‘Ratings going even higher now,’ which actually makes sense because the moves are pretty contagious. Another added, ‘This is good & to one my favorite shows. They were hitting that beat too!!!!,’ indirectly establishing a reference of random euphoria interlaced with pop culture.

And then came the hard Law & Order: SVU references. One individual tagged Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler demanding they ‘respond in 24 hours,’ while another dared the real cast to recreate the dance. Special shout-outs were given to the phantom guitar playing with one ranking it ‘next level’ and another laughed about ‘funky electric guitar shimmy.’

But the true anthem being sung here was celebration. “Love my people. Nothing but Black joy and endless creativity!” truly encapsulates it. Another one agreed, saying, “Any beat hits us we dancing bottom line” because in actuality, that’s a fact. Even something as silly as one user saying he thought that guy in front was Larenz himself actually helped the video.

And the best part? This was not some staged viral attempt. It was just some people having fun. Many vowed to debut this at their next party, and another declared, “I love us soooo much,” to which there was a collective ‘Amen!’

Tate’s always had that cool-guy vibe, effortless and easy, ever since Menace II Society, and this post needs to be an explanation of why his vibe just resonates. People will never appreciate him because it is not about being perfect; it is about that moment that everybody shares. Whether everybody was cracking up about Shaggy’s shimmy or demanding ponytail girl get to centerstage, it was engagement fueled by 100 percent realness.

No wonder that comment section morphed into a mini-reunion for SVU stans and dancers. The clip is going straight into people’s camera rolls throughout the nation after one person has already claimed to have ‘been rehearsing it.’

Before the series of events became a timeline, you want that one person who makes nothing into everything. And if NBC’s Law & Order franchise is swift enough, they better be slide into those comments sections forthwith—such energy deserves proverbial prime time.
