Once again, Lucy Boynton finds herself under the spotlight once more and into a spectacle of self-tape production tailored by director duo Gina Gammell and Riley Keough. Emblem Collective gave an exclusive snatch of the behind-the-scenes reveal, teasing the presence of Boynton inside of an elaborate indoor set with questionable definition at the shores of nature meets art.

In the photograph, Boynton is seated between green ferns and solid rocks, holding what we may assume to be a script while there hangs a painted canvas with trees picked out in soft skies, simulating an illusionary outdoor nearby set. The setting is as cinematic as a figment of imagination, hence, perfect for a project whose creative team boasts of nothing less than the finest.

Being this the second installment, obviously, it seems like there were more created expressions in this series. Top listed on the production credits was a roster of talent worthy of the industry, including Benjamin Kracun as cinematographer, Joi McMillon as editor, Christopher Stracey providing the musical score, with Nina Sobers handled style duties and Anusha Solanki responsible for makeup, therefore hiking the visuals to an even grander height.

The post received various wonderful praises, with some calling the whole thing, “Next level creative vibes,” while others showered compliments for the set design by saying, “so beautiful.” Expectations could be very much high due to the involvement of directors such as Gammell and Keough, both recognized for their talents. Another recognition comment described the two producers as “Two of the best producers in the business,” honoring their fast-growing reputation behind the camera.

Not all the reactions were on the positive side. There appeared at least one dissenting voice, which seemed possibly aimed at Keough but ultimately added to the distraction given that it brought in a weirdly specific reference to her ex, Danny Keough. Cryptic in style, it read, “Maybe you should spend more time with the person I do not like.” Distasteful or not, and perhaps an inside joke, it was certainly not going to detract from the burgeoning excitement for the project.

With the level of artistry displayed, one could imagine that ambitions were probably set in an entirely different league, given the thrust of Chanel herself and such a stack of talent behind it. Simply put, this is definitely not just a usual audition tape.

Boynton, a.k.a. the same girl who was seen in “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “The Politician,” has always had an attraction to charging her name on beautifully artistic assignments. Working with Gammell and Keough after the high acclaim of their feature debut “War Pony” should basically cement her credibility of going for works that challenge perceptions.

What will be next? The post left that question hanging. However, with this much artistry and talent, it is sure that what’s coming next will demand all our attention. Or in this case, a second simultaneous look and replay.
