Megyn Kelly Slams Michelle Obama Over Marriage Comments And People Have Thoughts

Megyn Kelly is back, this time siding with Michelle Obama against the former First Lady’s comment on marriage and what to say to her daughters. The Megyn Kelly Show posted the video on Instagram, and it set off reactions all effervescence from full-fledged support to utter disdain. Indeed, the comment section lived up to its name.

Kelly let loose on Michelle Obama in the clip: “I find this whole thing insane-the way she framed marriage.” The post invited viewers to subscribe to catch the show in its entirety on YouTube, but the replies were more than worthwhile to go through. Views ran into hundreds, with comments going from hilarious to downright mean.

@gae8677 simply commented, “OK, we get it, just divorce him already.” Ouch. Then came, “Uh oh Mattel isn’t gonna like that,” by @katiecriado. This is a very obvious way of alluding to the never-ending (and so tiresome) conspiracy theories on Michelle Obama.

They weren’t all insults though! @spencevball wrote with enthusiasm, “Love it! Yr a badass calling it like it is!!!” @sledchick925 chimed in: “Oooh and she got the hood accent goin toooo!!! GIRL! 😂😂😂.”

That’s when the weirdness started. @clynn22227 took it all out with the conspiracy: “I’ve just never seen hands that big on a woman …has anyone else?” Really? Now, that’s where we are? Meanwhile, @ramsfan1944 came in: “Big Mike giving advice on being a woman 😂😂😂😂😂,” as if those transphobic jokes were really still relevant in 2024.

Others do side with Michelle: @yasminn1012 argues, “Michelle Obama is grace and elegance and integrity and intelligence something you know nothing about. Leave her alone and stop attacking successful women of color is like your favorite hobby.” Amen.

That was the most distracting and completely random moment yet when @kevu7777 and @germantown23 engaged in a battle of replies. It started when @kevu7777 praised Kelly’s bluntness, and @germantown23 responded bitterly: “Megyn is the bitter bitch, she is jealous of Michelle.” And went right back @kevu7777’s: “hahahahah u must be a Harris voter!!! So sad u are brain washed.” Oops.

And then there was @mitzizene, who utterly disagreed with Michelle’s stance, stating, “She could not be more wrong. I was born in 1969, grew up in the 70s and 80s and all I remember was being told I could do and be anything I wanted. Sky was the limit.” This inspired a simple response from somebody else: “Me too.” Short, sweet, and pretty much crushing.

That compost of an old truth makes it bitter: Team Megyn or Team Michelle, one thing for sure: people have their feelings about it. And really, that is what keeps these kinds of clips entertaining: the drama, the clapbacks, and just random conspiracy theories-it’s all part of the show.
