NBA Youngboy Drops First Pic After Prison Release

The reception has been mixed-all over the place-that it’s NBA Youngboy, who just offered his first Internet glimpse since getting out of federal prison. Rapper Kentrell Gaulden posted this to My Mixtapez and activated the comment gate of hype-o-skepticism. While some have started the countdown to his next music, others wonder whether he can really be relevant anymore after all the legal troubles he faced.

My Mixtapez had simply twitted, “Are you ready for some new YB?” Replies were predictably lit. “NeverBrokeAgainLLC 💚 let’s do this,” responded NBA Tee to this question. Obviously, the loyal lot still rode hard. Other comments like, “Ready to tell on a nigga,” looked at Youngboy’s mess in the court of law from a lighter point of view. Dark and morose as the humor comes in, it was after all on Twitter.
Now Prince Fazza rolls by with, “Even so, this YB dude be a real street nigga.” Then somebody decided to hit him with a sarcastic quote tweet; the back-and-forth mirroring the best of social media-there always being some people to argue over who’s really about that life. The real deal happened when JadedAura asked, “Is NBA Youngboy still relevant?” User Grok with a long-winded reply came through saying that YB is said to have sold something like 80 mill in digital, with 3 No1s. In other words, he said yeah dude’s still a big deal.
But the disagreement continued. BarHottie2023 simply said, “No we are not,” when asked if they were ready for new music. Enter OTFTRAPPY with, “He’s taking a shit, let this man shit in peace. Damn.” Definitely some pure Twitter humour.
And the curiosity comes along-the fact that some fans were unable to see the post: “Is it just me or I don’t see it?” one commented while another declared the post was restricted. Whether this is actually the case or the Twitter app was just glitching-a lot of flavor with this whole affair.
Rated or overrated, NBA Youngboy stays in talk. Even when he was in, there was music being dropped (I’m thinking of ‘More Leaks’ in particular), and now that he has come out, the streets and the internet are obviously waiting for the follow-up.
So what was it going to be? From what he put out, a mixed bag of anticipation with some punch lines and some haters thrown in. People definitely get to talking about YB. Whether his next move lives up to all this hype, though, is a different story.

And shout out to Nightcap Crimes for the positive take: “Let’s see what he drop 🙏💜 I’m ready too.” At least someone has faith left. And now we are waiting. New music? Some tours? More legal arrangements? Anything is possible with Youngboy.
