OutKick And Tomi Lahren Spark Debate With Controversial Losers Of The Week List

The newest ‘Losers of the Week’ segment by OutKick and Tomi Lahren, the conservative commentator Mallory, fresh from another merciless serving of her usual dinner of corporate injustice, trickled down in mere moments before the enormous walls of social media reach thundered from her controversy contest.

A triple-topical go-down with Black Woman Statue in Times Square, Disney setting up a park in a state fighting against LGBTQ+ rights, and the Met Gala being called ‘freak show.’ And the reactions, eh? About half-hearted!
Snowman was furious, shooting back: ‘Always promoting division-race card,’ accusing OutKick and Lahren of drowning the pot unnecessarily. Actor Rhonda Stech chuckled, ‘That statue is Tish James or it was till an investigation was opened on her!’ In the exact direction, Lori Steele stated she was unable to unsee that. ‘Am I the only one that thinks that statue resembles Latitia James?’
Now, for the Disney watchers. ‘That’s why I don’t go to Disney World—they are woke,’ declared SimonSimon0077 with conviction. Would have made a statement. On the opposite side, John Catron was imagining an Abu Dhabi Disney where ‘every theme, ride, show, attraction, decor is ALADIN! But not the Disney cartoon version… the genie kind of cross-dresses as an airline stewardess.’
Not everyone was laughing. Denise Martell was cuttingly off-topic, calling Lahren ‘irrelevant,’ while Mesamavric recalled Trump’s recent public feud with a Black woman and pouring sarcasm over it: ‘What a loser she is, that will show her who’s boss!’
With a light yet sharp spin symbolic of Lahren’s usual verbal antics, Tony Alexander wrote, ‘The statue looks as if she wants to speak to a manager…’ Ouch.
The Met Gala portion did not really attract many responses. The replies’ overall tone, however, displayed the schism—that is, some applauding Lahren for her blunt and upfront manner of talking about something, while others rolled their eyes at what they considered tired culture war bait.
So, what do we take away? In all honesty, whether you feel for Lahren or against her, there is one concrete thing: She knows how to get the conversation going. The way media works these days, that might even be the whole point.
About the statue? Well, if it does look like Letitia James, the sculptor might be coming in for some inconvenient questioning—or maybe lean into it. Either way, it’s a debate that won’t be gone anytime soon.
And Disney? They will probably continue with their Disney life whether there are controversies or not. Because, at the end of the day, Mickey has a brand to protect—and so many parks to look after.

The Met Gala is a freak show? What is that? Well, exactly. Still, it gives people some sort of something to argue about other than politics. For a while, at least. Yeah. Another round of hot takes for the week. And the Internet? Still undefeated in outrage. How shocking is that?
