Peter Facinelli Teases Chicago Fan Expo With Mysterious Forest Image

One of those eternally wisecracking teasers Facinelli dropped was during his announcement of his arrival at FAn Expo in Chicago. The actor treated his followers to a foggy atmospheric picture of himself looking every bit of a supernatural dad—awsome and quietly intense. The caption punned a little on the 1998 rom-com ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’. “Can’t Hardly Wait to meet you @ FAN EXPO.”

The image has all the vibes: clad in black, with the misty woods silhouetted behind-the aurora of “I might be a vampire or I am just good at brooding.” The pushy pink border yelling “MEET ME”-Must have been Facinelli’s way of saying, “Yeah, I’m mysterious, but also please come say hi.” Oh, the paradox!

Swift were the reactions, as one might expect-ladened with exuberance from those thankful for their arrival in Chicago on the historic dates of August 16th and 17th, 2025, whilst others suffered from that very bitter geographical pain. “I LIVE IN ENGLAND I WISH,” lamented one user. Another, surely still buzzed from the twilight wave, shouted his immortal love for the franchise because, while this franchise may be old enough to be the parent of some of its fans, the love remains forever.

Another plea edged forth: “Come to AZ,” followed by “Please come to Australia.” A dramatic soul tagged a friend, “You said you wanted to meet up in Chicago this month 👀,” for tags fuel the fanbase.

Some lucky fans revealed their experience: one called Facinelli awesome in Oklahoma City; another called for mourning over experiences that would never come to pass: “Knowing my luck, you’ll come to Edmonton right as I leave for the Navy,” for the universe does indeed have an awful sense of humor when it involves celebrity encounters.

Naturally, Facinelli posts could not possibly have been unmarred without one of those ‘Twilight’-style shoutouts. “Team Carlisle forever!” one fan said, in reference to one of Facinelli’s character whose appeal is undying in every sense. Another wistfully uttered, “One day we’ll cross paths,” because hope springs eternal when you’re waiting for a vampire dad moment.

In other words: the dude is still relevant, and he is on a whole other level of relevancy. Whether playing a shimmering, killing vamp or just being his super cool self, people want to die to meet him. Judging by this teaser, next summer will be nothing short of ridiculous in Chicago.
