Prince Louis Turns 7 And The Internet Goes Bonkers

The Prince and Princess of Wales have just complimented their little son, Prince Louis with the cutest birthday greetings on his 7th birthday. An Official tweet from Kensington Royal marked sweetly, when a photo of Prince Louis looked all too grown up, along with the caption, “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!” The internet lost it.

Indeed, how fast time flies! Just yesterday we were seeing little Louis stealing the show during royal events with funny faces. At seven, he sure looks every bit the gentleman in that birthday portrait. The photo by Josh Shinner is without doubt royal charm incarnate.

The replies on the tweet? Pure gold. Birthday wishes came pouring forth from all over with some hilarious and cute comments in between. Our Sarah Wood started simply with, “Happy birthday Prince Louis,” while some poor soul tried to promote him into “Princess Louis.” Typos happen, I say, especially when royal birthdays excite us!

Cp4 got all poetic: “Hey, Happy Birthday Little Guy one more year older Prince Louis. God bless you and peace be with you.” Now, Sam Stanier was all mushy with some cake emojis- because a birthday is no birthday without cake emojis. For real.

But, wow, did Mildred R sum up every one of our thoughts: “WOW he grew up fast!!!” Tell me about it. Feels like we were just watching him wave from the balcony as a toddler and now he’s out here looking like he’s ready to take on royal duties (or at least a really cool birthday party).

Most wholesome of all probably, while Dalapo O Adepoju wrote: “Happy birthday Prince Louis, long life and prosperity in good health. Many happy returns of the day. You have wonderful. God bless you.” More of this energy in the world, needed.

Of course, not all replies dished out sugar and spice. Christine Mavroidis instead brought the drama and replied: ‘Do away with the whole tribe!!’ One could clearly sense that someone had gotten out of bed on the wrong side of the castle today. They actually defended their negativity, replying to others in agreement with another anti-monarchy sentiment saying, “Yes, I agree!!!!” Not cool, Christine. It’s a child’s birthday, save the political stuff for another day.

Most people remained classy; Edith Alemán gave the good-old ‘Happy Birthday Prince Louis’- all adorned with cake, candy, and party hat emojis- the holy trinity of birthday wishes. Daryl Spence said the photo itself was lovely-with this we agree, quite cute.

The WhitestPrincess account has mysteriously dropped three upside-down smileys and a Getty-level photo credit. Interpret that as you will. Probably it means Louis grows up too fast and makes them dizzy? Who knows.

That much is clear. Prince Louis, like his elder siblings George and Charlotte, has found a way into everyone’s hearts. Royal kids have a way of making the monarchy relatable, especially through Louis and his vibrant personality. Remember him pulling faces during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee? That was iconic!

Now at 7, a big milestone -school must be underway, reading books and perhaps learning some royal wave movements, so that all are similar. The Cambridge children have done well to balance royal life with being children, with this birthday image exemplifying that. Louis is happy and healthy and ready for any adventure his 7-year-old self will call for.

The extra bit of chaos and fun in all these Cambridge kids came during royal appearances. Refusing to high-five during walkabouts, or photobombing his siblings; honestly, this little dude has probably even won hearts without him knowing. Birthday just reminds how fast royal kids grow and bring joy into life for everyone.

So happy birthday Prince Louis! Another year of sweet treats, priceless facial expressions, and fingers-crossed balcony appearances on which he can preferably strut like a star. The internet is for it drama and all.
