Snoop Dogg Announces New Album With Star-Studded Features

Snoop Dogg has shown his usual Midas touch. Announcing his latest project, “Iz It A Crime?” set for release across streaming platforms on 15th May, the list of features is a jaw-dropper: Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, Sexyy Red, and LaRussell.

The announcement caused a stir across the social media realm, with some on cloud nine over potential collaborations and others left scratching their heads. Didn’t he just drop another one? Said the Twitter user Duplo12345: Didn’t he just drop an album a couple of months ago? Very fair point. Insane work ethic, or maybe Snoop has a bigger vault of unreleased tracks than of, you know.
Not everybody’s heart was in it, however; one, Not Greg, was clearly upset that his collaboration didn’t make it onto the album: “Wow, I can’t believe he left my track with him off of this. What the heck.” Tough break, Greg. Maybe next time.
BradKat 🐯 took to Twitter during the whole announcement, vibing along with it: “Excited to see how he blends these styles together.” Honestly, me too. Snoop mixing the old-school West Coast with the new is a sight to see. Pharrell? Hello, instant classic. Wiz Khalifa? Always a smooth combo. Sexyy Red? Uh… That’ll be interesting.
This is way beyond an album drop. This is a cultural moment. Vintage Snoop has been around for decades and is still managing to stay fresh yet true to his roots. Being old or new school, May 15th will be a good day for all hip-hop heads.

Write it down, set your reminders, and start the celebration. Snoop said he’s dropping; hence, it will be worth the wait…or better yet, a vibe. In this crazy world, that’s all we can ask for.
