Tom Cruise Drops Mission Impossible Teaser And Fans React Wildly

Just one tweet; the internet went into a frenzy, and Tom Cruise communicated something so basic: “Dear ladies and gentlemen, remember why this guy is still the king of action.” His ominous yet exciting invitation-joking in the true Tom Cruise idiom-was, “Your mission, should you choose to accept it: a weekend of action on the big screen.” That was it; no extra hints were added to it. The responses were all over the place-with hype, criticism, and everything in between.

A few loved it. One recalled: “The new MI movie gave me amazing action, thrill and fun that kept me sitting on the edge all the way.” They wished him safety, which in fact might really be a thing for him with all the stunts he pulls off. The other one is prepared to watch it a fourth time this weekend: that can be either a commitment or insanity triggered by some crashing motorcycle cliff jumps.
Well, not everyone was sold on it. One really went there, branding it as the worst movie of MI,” and that really hurt. A second ramped up the heat with a full-blown rant about a continuously shifting storyline, too many female commanders for their tastes, and an emasculated send-off for Ethan Hunt. A $7 and three-hour pity came with it- harsh, but hey, not every film will click with everyone.
Then comes the wildcard. One states the joke that the tweet will self-destruct in five seconds-failed to do so, but good luck for the creativity. Another one just randomly hints at Scientology since apparently, no Tom Cruise discussion can complete itself without it. Of course, there was also the obligatory begging for a Keanu Reeves teaming with him, because who in the world wouldn’t want to see that?
It also became heartfelt as a Japanese fan thanked Cruise for working hard and kindly requested him to visit again, while the other one was deep with a hollow echo about adversity and strength that somehow felt so fitting for the Mission Impossible thread.
Tom Cruise, for better or worse, is one thing, he does keep the crowd interested. Whether for his mad stunts, for his inconsistent stories, or simply for his charm, he certainly has the crowd in his grip. Amidst this such wide split, these are unmistaken signs of the franchise staying for longer yet if a handful wish otherwise.
So, mission accepted? For most, absolutely. For others… well, maybe next time. Cruise wins either way.
