BIG MAMA just blasted across all social media with a full European tour over six countries. It was beautifully announced with that signature cheekiness: pasta emojis and a hilarious presale code that got people buzzing. The tour starts in Malta on June 7 and travels on to London, Berlin, Denmark, Amsterdam, Paris, and finally Belgium on 6 July.

The venues weren’t even mentioned in the tour announcement. Just the city names were listed-with many logistical question marks hanging in the air. But anyway, when has BIG MAMA ever played by conventional promo rules?

And so out comes a full Europe tour schedule with dates across six countries, which also marks the first official European tour for an artist that went viral and international last year. FIFTEEN new venues: FROM Tinderbox festival to Les Ardentes, as well as some club shows travelling in between together; suggest to a certain extent that this artist does intend to have some strategic consideration in getting to already existing audience and creating new ones. Yardland in Paris is a flex if anything-the most venues at the moment are trying to hook up groundbreaking hip-hop acts.

What is one talking about? Because this city——– a hitch with no gaps in tour schedule, laid in between June 18 and July 6: seven cities within eighteen days and different countries. Either BIG MAMA has superhero stamina, or we are getting documentary footage on the most chaotic tour bus in history. Either way, the win is on us.
