Ciara and Megan Thee Stallion Slay the Stage in Epic Collab

Ciara tweeted about freaking people out not long ago, and shoutout to Megan Thee Stallion for that totally awesome performance. The whole post just reeks of hyperbole and some hashtags-the most obvious being #RealHotGirlSht; people scuttled about trying to get to the bottom of what that evening had in store for them. And, judging from the replies? It turned out to be a night like that.

What exactly happened? Well, not much was by Ciara herself, but the very essence of her tweet strikes horror into people’s hearts. Following that, she called it a “special night” and thanked Megan for having her-“probably” judging from both their track records about causing commotion in the proverbial house. The replies-they fall into pure worship, nostalgia, and a few spicy ones (well, obviously-so for Twitter).

One user, @hottiedivine_, went all in to call the performance “epic,” begging for and demanding that collab official, music video, and even “Week 2” because apparently once wasn’t enough. And honestly? Mood. Another:@AaniHendricks humorously remarked how Ciara was 39 and should be able to shake it better than anyone on that stage. Like, how?? CiCi be untouchable like that.

Not everybody was on this hype train, however. @wisdomx fired: “Proud of what? It’s time for that bull crap to end.” Ouch. Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the internet. Meanwhile, @indigo_blues93 was already campaigning to place Ciara at the head of the next NFL Halftime Show. Petition? Signed.

There was some insane love for the two, however. @THEEguy_ went in and called it a lifetime for Ciara-she’s been killing stages for 20+ years and can still dance like it’s 2004. ·@HussleandLo got all emotional and literally thanked Ciara for being her childhood and this moment. Same?? Hard hitting nostalgia.

Then came the fashion stans. @bey_fancy straight-up confessed she needed that Ciara fit. No shame in it-we all do. Meanwhile, @Crazy4Skinner53 attempted to keep up with the choreo and realized all of a sudden that those knees were not built for the life. So relatable.

There was, however, some insane love in reply to these two. @tinasnowsource begged for an official song from the artists, while @prince_brandan dubbed them the “twerk queens.” One thing is clear: this duo is unstoppable.

So, what could happen next? More stages, more bops, and perhaps a famous spot for that Halftime Show. But for now, the internet is just going to keep replaying whatever magic happened last night. Because if there’s one thing Ciara and Megan know how to do? It’s keep everybody talking.
