The clip being circulated features the legendary television judge putting a stop to a man who was accusing her of a financial loss through social-media-kind-of-slander.

The complainant said he has lost “thousands of dollars of projected profits.” But Judge Judy does not entertain this kind of melodrama. She said: “Well listen, you weren’t making thousands of dollars. Because if you were making thousands of dollars, you wouldn’t have needed a loan for rent!”

And some will now feel sorry for the candy seller, but the average viewer will have to give it up for the judge, because let us be honest-if your business is making money really, you won’t be in court tossing and turning for rent money.

Judge Judy has refused being outside the headlines with her gutsy answers. You really can’t hate or respect her, for she is a whirlwind in the courtroom. It would be such a breath of fresh air if everybody would embrace her kind of tough love amid all the excuses out there.
