The internet is buzzing around Michael Cimino and his car-building escapades. The actor, who rose to fame with his appearance in Love, Victor, has just pushed out a new video for showcasing his recent project, and it has been met well up to this point.

The clip sees Cimino prepping an oil pan and transmission, cleaning them, and installing a head on what appears to be quite an elaborate engine build. He also offers more of these tips: Oven cleaner will suffice just as well instead of shelling out cash for an engine degreaser, so long as it isn’t aluminium corrosive. Hence, the humor flows throughout, joining with an undertone of his self-deprecating humor, where he admits to doing it wrong yet somehow pulling it off. “The tool that you have is the right tool,” he said with a wink.

Immediately after its posting with an innocent caption, “Back to your regularly scheduled programming,” the post amassed a gigantic number of reactions from fans who could not seemingly get enough of his hands-on approach. One fan gushed with love, “Baby face is back ❤️🙌,” while another exclaimed how “bloody jokes” one of his one-liners was and that it would “sit in my soul for an eternity.”

But his awesome jokes barely tapped into the spotlight. As weird as it sounds, some viewers found the whole process of engine taking down strangely therapeutic. “Not gonna lie, watching ya take a car apart is kinda therap. Is that weird??” said one. Another shared his nostalgia: “Bruh this takes me back to building my 180sx and e36.”

Of course, not everyone was watching the mechanical details so keenly. Some observers melted for Cimino himself. “Yes, you look far hotter without that moustache,” declared one quite unattractively. Others were just interested in where they could watch all the episodes for this car-building series: “Where can I find Mikey’s Motors and watch all the episodes?” they enquired.

The amateur appreciation for this production crossed the oceans; even one Brazilian fan ventured: “I fell in love with you when you did the series ‘Love, Victor.’ And you shared everything you went through to get where you are. Congratulations, Michael Cimino.”

Be it for his charm, car-growling skills, or simply the absurdity that is watching a TV star elbow-deep in engine grease, Mike’s latest update has made a mutiny on the internet. And with the amped-up roars from the fans clamoring for more already, looks like this ain’t the end of any more automotive adventures.

But for now, it’s a wrap, and we’re all waiting for what’s next in the garage.
