They Can’t Parallel Park!

His stunt work ranges from climbing trees as a killer vampire (“Hold on tight, spider monkey!”) in the Twilight franchise to escaping explosions in the arctic in the upcoming action-packed film Mickey 17, but Robert Pattinson admitted in a Vogue interview that he can’t do a very basic driving task: parallel parking.

“I’m very anxiety-prone, I don’t like driving fast in real life at all,” the Batman actor told the outlet in January 2025. “I can’t even parallel park! I need it to be valet-only like in Clueless. But there’s something about my pride that comes out when I’m being filmed. All of a sudden, I’m like, ‘Yeah, I can drive 120 miles an hour through this tiny little gap.’”
