Will Smith Celebrates 30 Years of Bad Boys With Nostalgic Throwback

Will Smith brought back a whole lot of nostalgia with his tweet about 30 years since Bad Boys-one of the action comedies that really defined an entire era. He shouted the big names-Jerry Bruckheimer, Don Simpson, and Michael Bay-for putting a bet on him and Martin Lawrence back in the day. And let’s be honest, that gamble paid off pretty well as of now. The tweet came with a beautiful throwback pic and the Internet? Oh, it had feelings.

The replies really formed the best cocktail of love, memes, and outright movie quotes. One Twitter user to us with a Bad Boys banger was @Rod_Rillo: “Now back up.” Put the gun down. And get me a pack of tropical fruit Bubblicious…But make some Skittles! If you didn’t hear that in Mike Lowrey’s voice, are you even a fan? Nah, scratch that-in fact, are you even alive?
Then there’s @TK1STYLE that said everytime he or she steps into a convenience store that line just plays in my head like a broken record. Same, dude. Same.
Yet, not everyone was quoting the film, some Speed Dialers like @Untouchable_J getting so dramatic and calling Will a “LEGEND” as he rattles off some of his hits-the Fresh Prince, Men in Black, Independence Day, Pursuit of Happyness. I swear, that’s all fair. The dude pretty much has an arsenal a book thick in resumes.
There’s always that one guy who pops a question in the replies (@IsaacB999) like, um, “How do you f×+k a witch without condom?” Bruh. What? Not even unwrapping that one. Moving along.
But the real kappa to the crown? @_InfamousGRouse mentioned that they just caught Bad Boys in theaters for the 30th anniversary, and it still holds. That is the thing with classics; they never get old; they get better.
And let us not forget those who just stopped by to drop, “Classic!” ( @ImJstSumNitTwit) or “Changed the landscape!” ( @RetroGraveProd). Because it just is what it is: Bad Boys is not a movie; it is a reset on culture.
Or, 30 years down the line, and people still can’t get enough. Will’s tweet just about served as a love letter to the fans and, as to the fans? They sent that love right back. Now it’s back to watching Bad Boys for the 50th time. Skittles and Bubblicious are on standby.

Uh-what was I saying? Oh right. Happy anniversary, Bad Boys. Here’s to many years-30 at least-saying, “We ride together, we die together.”
